"The Schomburg Center’s annual Open House is an invitation to the general public to come inside the Center and learn about our approach to research, preservation, and exhibition of materials focused on African American, African Diaspora, and African experiences. It is an opportunity to meet our librarians, archivists, and curators; learn how to conduct research using Schomburg's collections; tour the current exhibitions; learn more about our programs for all ages; and explore our archives."
